TCR #64: My Heart

Whew! Thought I wouldn't be able to make something for The Color Room this week. I've been very busy with a job for a client and so preoccupied with so many things to do at home. I'm just glad I was able to come up with a layout using the 64th Palette.

Back with our pre-nuptial scrapbook.

The background is made of hand stamped images, stickers, inks and glittered glue.

I cut heart shapes using assorted patterned papers to create my photo mat. Then embellished with buttons, flowers and stickers.

More of the stickers and hand stamping.

TCR #63: My Little Actor

Got loads of work to do for this week! But to start with everything, I decided to make a quick layout about my son using The Color Room's Palettle #63.

The photo is about my son acting as if he was so delighted with the dessert well in fact he is not that much into sweets. The photo was captured using my sister's camera phone. I just printed it out at home.
I created the background using acrylic stamps of circles and squares. All the pieces were hand-cut except for the star strip which is a decorative tape and the title made of alpha stickers.

I like it to be simple and clean. I just inked the edges of some pieces for depth.

The gray tag is a hidden journal.

The photo frame is a corrugated sheet. I made use of cutter and punch to make it.

TCR #62: Moments

Hi Everyone! Another week of scrapping. The Color Room is now on its 62nd Palette for this week. It's very orange!
Here is the layout I did using the said palette. Back to our pre-nuptial scrapbook. It's a series of photos captured at the same point along Manila Bay.

I painted the base with white acrylic paint following the patterns of the paper to create the background. I mounted the photos on chipboards and painted the edges with white acrylic paint for depth.

I did a little beading for the ribbon.

The title is a foam cut using Tim Holtz cutting die. I got this as a freebie from the craft shop I visited last month. I dressed it with glitters and sealed it with craft varnish to prevent the glitters from falling off the foam.

TCR #61: Oh Boy @ 2

The Color Room is now on its 61st Palette. I really enjoyed working on this one. I just love the colors. It's a page about our son at the age of 2.
I made the background with strips of assorted patterned papers, Zig markers, Letraset Aquamarker and Love Elsie acrylic stamps.

The flowers are made from Carla Craft punchers, Crayola glittered glue and Sakura Souffle pen. The title was cut from Slice machine using DC Big Kidz.

The buttons and chipboard elements are from All About Scrapbooking which is locally available here in our country.

I added faux stitches to frame the photos and journal strip with Sakura Aqualip pen.
