TCR #60: Dream

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone's great! Our family vacation ended last Friday. I'm back on my usual task. It was only yesterday that I was able to sit and create on my craft space. I made a layout for the 60th Palette of The Color Room.

Below is my entry.

It's another layout for our pre-nuptial scrapbook. We were standing on the ledge/wall just before Manila Bay. It was a sunny afternoon, such a perfect weather.

I stamped the flourish frame image using MS acrylic stamp and Colorbox Pigment Ink. The silver white flourish is felt laser cut that I accented with dimensional glittered glue.

Assorted flowers

I hand-stitched the organza ribbon and added pearl beads for accent.

TCR #59: Our Church

Hi Everyone! Just another weekend of scrapbooking during my freetime. I've been at home for three months since I quit from my day job and have adjusted and balanced my time being a mom and wife. Anyways, for this week, I have to make my layout earlier than the usual because my family is going on a trip.
The Color Room is now on its 59th Palette. I only have the nearest colors from the given palette.
The layout is about the Church wherein we got married. On the photo is the facade of Malate Church. It is a Baroque-styled Church facing a small park and that beyond is the Manila Bay. The Church is dedicated to Nuestra Senora de Remedios, Patroness of childbirth. On this layout, I played with layers of of different papers and added just a few embellishments.
I painted the pink paper and added the flourish squares using acrylic stamp and Gesso.
The photo corner on the upper right is from the same paper of the journal writing. It's from Webster's Pages Petite Papers Hollywood Vogue and WonderFall combo collection.

TCR#58: Just Us

Whew! Such a busy week! We had a little family reunion. Our relatives outside the country went home for a visit. We had a great time together!
So, for this week, in The Color Room, we are now on the 58th Palette. I really love the colors, but it took me a while to go over my stash before I got the supplies I needed that matches, or at least near with given color palette.
Here is my entry. It's another layout for our pre-nuptial album. The photo was captured while we were sitting on a bench at the seaside park of Manila Bay. I really adore this because it's as if nobody's around but only the two of us.
To create the background, I cut a strip of patterned paper and adhere it on the light yellow paper base. Then, I brushed a little gesso over one side of the patterned paper. The green and yellow flower accent is a collage of thin paper strips and beads.
I have to make the light blue flower using organza ribbon and beads. The rest of the flowers and accents are ready-made.
I was looking for a birdcage stamp I needed for this layout but couldn't find one. So I decided to doodle it using pencil and glittered fabric paint. The birds were made using Slice machine and Slice DC Big Kidz. I mounted each on layers of paper and chipboard, then cut each using a craft knife. Finally, I dressed each with inks, chalks and glittered fabric paint. The tree bark is a chipboard I shaped and painted with acrylic paint and accented with glittered fabric paint.

TCR#57: Sweet Memory

It's not late to greet every Mom a Happy Mother's Day! The Color Room is now on it's 57th Palette. Here is the layout I did for the said palette.
TCR#57 Entry: Sweet Memory
It's a collage of elements to form a birdcage.
First, I cut a window following the pattern of the paper stack. Then, I made slits wherein I inserted the ribbon to create the frame for my photo.
I love these stickers because they look vintage and elegant.
I added bugle and rounded beads in-between the ribbon slits and on each paper flowers for sparkle.
The journal writing is my favorite phrase from the Bible (Phil 1:3)
