Dolls: Prairie Poise Blythe a.k.a "Emily" and Romantic Western Petite Blythe a.k.a. "Emma-Jane"

A birthday gift from my husband...

Here she is waiting to be out from her box.

Emily (Prairie Posie Blythe doll) and Emma-Jane (Romantic Western Petite Blythe)

I rescued Emma-Jane (Romantic Western Petite Blythe) from a flea market during our trip in Baguio, Philippines.  She still have what's left of her stock (missing hat and belt accessories).  Petite Blythe dolls close their eyes when you place them on a lying position.

Dolls: My Sylvanian Families

Hi Everyone, I’m happy to share my first collection of Sylvanian Families. It all started when I was looking for a miniature refrigerator to fit in my shoebox dollhouse I ended up starting another collection. I find these miniature dolls really cute and adorable. They come in family sets of animals making them really sweet and special. The miniature homes and furniture are beautiful and realistic reminding me of the cozy country homes I really love so much.

My husband is very supportive and let me have my very first home. It’s a Sycamore Cottage Starter House Set which comes with a Chocolate Rabbit Sister figure, a bed, mini kitchen set and a dining set. Eventually, I added the rest of the figures and pieces from the collection. I also decorated the walls and windows of the first level with scraps from my crafting materials

Next is the Watermill Bakery. It comes with so many detailed pieces like the oven, pastries, bottle of sweet jams, trays and bakery shop needs. The dough mixer is attached to the wheel of the watermill, it turns while manually spinning the wheel. This is my favourite shop.

Now, I recently got the Flower Shop and the Sylvanian Toy Shop. I was delighted by the mini dollhouses and accessories of the toy shop set.

Dolls: Shoe Box Dollhouse and My Mini Lalaloopsy Dolls

I made a dollhouse using shoe boxes, doll packages and craft materials to display my Mini Lalaloopsy dolls. I find this dolls very cute and colorful. As described from the official website, Lalaloopsy are rag dolls that magically come to life from the fabric used to make them. They live in a colorful silly world! Sew Magical! Sew Cute! They also come in big sizes but I prefer the small ones.

I started with only one, I just thought it would be a nice prop in taking photographs of my Blythe dolls, but I ended up collecting them. This dolls reminded me of my favorite 3D animated movie, Coraline, because of the buttoned-eyes.

Shoe Box Dollhouse
I like it to look fun, colorful and pleasing to the eyes of a child.
The Art and Study Area
The doll packages are great addition to the dollhouse.
The Bedroom Area
My favorite area of the dollhouse. Pretty in pink with a touch of neutral colors.
The Kitchen
I displayed the polymer clay cupcakes I made last 2009. The yellow rug, is a crocheted piece I made with Ails on our one-on-one crochet tutorial.
The Rooftop
I find the packages cute and they are really useful because it can be converted into small houses for these cute dolls.

The dollhouse is still in progress...

TCR #66: Promise

Here is the layout I did using The Color Room's Palette #66.

"Promise"
The photo was captured during our pre-wedding photo session with our wedding photographer.  Behind us is our wedding church, Nuestra Señora de los Remedios also known as Malate Church in the heart of Manila, Philippines.

A collage of handmade paper flowers, buttons, strings and assorted embellishments.

I did a little sewing and beading.

Making a good use of craft punchers to create the small flowers.

Here is the palette from The Color Room.

TCR #65: Blissful

Here is the layout I did for The Color Room's Palette #65.

"Blissful"
Playing with homemade glimmer mist, punch cuts and cutouts.
I love 3 dimensional Pebeo glitter touch to create the doodle border around the photo.

I also made the paper butterflies using Cuttlebug Machine and Decorative Dies.

A collage of assorted embellishments

TCR #64: My Heart

Whew! Thought I wouldn't be able to make something for The Color Room this week. I've been very busy with a job for a client and so preoccupied with so many things to do at home. I'm just glad I was able to come up with a layout using the 64th Palette.

Back with our pre-nuptial scrapbook.

The background is made of hand stamped images, stickers, inks and glittered glue.

I cut heart shapes using assorted patterned papers to create my photo mat. Then embellished with buttons, flowers and stickers.

More of the stickers and hand stamping.

TCR #63: My Little Actor

Got loads of work to do for this week! But to start with everything, I decided to make a quick layout about my son using The Color Room's Palettle #63.

The photo is about my son acting as if he was so delighted with the dessert well in fact he is not that much into sweets. The photo was captured using my sister's camera phone. I just printed it out at home.
I created the background using acrylic stamps of circles and squares. All the pieces were hand-cut except for the star strip which is a decorative tape and the title made of alpha stickers.

I like it to be simple and clean. I just inked the edges of some pieces for depth.

The gray tag is a hidden journal.

The photo frame is a corrugated sheet. I made use of cutter and punch to make it.
